Insurgent attack leaves ten Afghan security forces dead
(MENAFN) An Afghan official declared that an insurgent attack on a checkpoint in western Farah district left over ten security soldiers dead.
Abdul Samad Salehi,regional council member confirmed that among the deaths,four of them were from the intelligence service while the others were on the police force.
He added that the Taliban attack took place near Farah city,however,no accusations were claimed against any insurgent group.
The Taliban group has been carrying out more attacks on security forces in Farah region recently.
