Pakistan- Bajaur residents protest Ahmad Shah murder, demand arrest of killers


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) KHAR: A massive protest in Inayat Killy of Bajaur Agency was organized to condemn murder of Ahmad Shah in Karachi and demanded of the government arrest his killers without wasting further time.

The protesters led by leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal along with other leaders of other political parties and chanted slogans against the Sindh government for failure to protect Pakhtun youth in Karachi. Responding to calls from traders' body, shopkeepers and traders closed their shops and markets and participated in the protest.

The protesters appealed Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of Ahmad Shah's murder in Karachi and order immediate arrest of killers.

Aurangzeb Inqilabi of PPP, Muzaffar Baghi of PTI and Fatih Rahman of ANP addressed the protesters and asked the Sindh and Punjab governments to stop killing of Pakhtun youths. Ahmad Shah, a resident of Bajaur Agency, was killed by unknown persons in Karachi.
