(MENAFN- Daily Outlook Afghanistan) KABUL - President Ashraf Ghani on Friday visited the eastern gate of the capital Kabul and assessed problems, resources and capacity of the entry point.
A statement from the Presidential Palace received by Pajhwok Afghan News, said the president visited many parts including the operations of vehicle inspection scanners, drug screening and heavy vehicles' computerized weigh-bridge of the eastern Kabul gate today.
The official of the gate provided information about their activities and achievements to the president, the source said.
President Ghani thanked the officials for their honest performance and sharing information about their resources and requirements with him.
He stressed on providing essential resources, transparency in collecting revenue, coordination, better management and precision in identifying criminals during his visit, the statement concluded. (Pajhwok)
