Qatar- Dyarco, Intergroup host outdoor sporting events

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Dyarco International Group and Intergroup, affiliated to Al Faisal Holding Group, jointly organised activities on the occasion of National Sport Day.
Employees from both groups took part in various outdoor activities at Al Ahli Sports Club. Group companies, including Leminar, Troy Engineering, Dyarco Technology, Dyarco Shipping Services, DIMS, Al Failaq International Trading, Intergroup Shipping and Intergroup Retail Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, participated in the event.
A mix of individual and collective games for children and adults took place between 8am and 1pm, and medals and trophies were awarded to individual and team winners. The younger participants also had a chance to exercise with a lemon-and-spoon race and 100m running race.
Sport Day remains an annual tradition in which the employees and their families take part in activities that promote sports and healthy living. More than 200 employees joined the event, a 100% increase from 2017, according to a press statement. Leminar won the first prize for cricket, relay and men's running race, and the second prize for football and basketball games.
Troy Engineering won the first prize for tug-of-war and women's running race, while Intergroup/Intergroup Retail respectively won the first prize for basketball and football. Also, Dyarco/Dyarco Tech came second in cricket, relay and men/women's running races. Light healthy refreshments as well as lunch were provided to all participants.
