Japan sends world's smallest rocket into orbit
(MENAFN) Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has successfully launched the smallest carrier rocket SS-520-5 globally.
The carrier rocket was launched from the Uchinoura Space Center at 05:03 GMT.
It is to be situated into orbit a TRICOM-1R satellite for the purpose of geological surveillance along with communications with a mass of three kilograms which the University of Tokyo was in charge of developing.
