The city of Nakhchivan was declared the Youth Capital of 2018. The corresponding decision was announced at an event on occasion of February 2 - the Youth Day , Trend reports Feb. 2.

The Youth Capital is selected through Internet voting.

The symbolic key of the Youth Capital was presented to Azad Jabbarov, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
