Pakistan- Toy bomb explosion injures two children in Wazirsitan


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) WANA: Two children were injured after a toy bomb they were playing with exploded in Brond area of Sarvekai tehsil of the agency, officials at the political administration said.

The officials said that 9-year old Kalsom and seven year-old Rasheed were playing with a toy bomb when it exploded. As a result, both children were injured seriously who were shifted to hospital in Dera Ismail Khan where doctors said that Kalsoom has lost a hand while Rasheed has lost one eye.

Landmines blasts have become a routine matter in the agency that killed and disabled hundreds of people including women and children throughout Fata.

Elders of the agency said that they have demanded of the political administration to clear the agency of landmines and toy bombs but so far no action has been taken.
