Senator McCain to miss out on GOP tax bill vote

(MENAFN) As declared Sunday night by his office, Sen. John McCain is set to make his return to Washington in January following a stay in Arizona for physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Senator McCain wouldn't be able to participate in the GOP tax bill vote early this week due to his absence.

The senator's office stated "he is grateful for the excellent care he continues to receive, and appreciates the outpouring of support from people all over the country. He looks forward to returning to Washington in January."
