Cheong Wa Dae called on China to look into South Korean journalists' beating

(MENAFN) Following the incident of South Korean photojournalists being assaulted by Chinese security guards last week, Cheong Wa Dae has called on China Sunday to rapidly look into the episode.

Senior presidential press secretary Yoon Young-chan informed reporters "we call on the Chinese government to swiftly uncover truth and punish those responsible, we wish the injured journalists a quick recovery."

The incident has erupted Thursday once the journalists were prevented by Chinese guards from tailing President Moon while he was making a stop at a range of booths at a trade fair in Beijing.
