Aden, Rabi'I 29, 1439, December 17, 2017, SPA -- The Yemeni government has renewed its demand for relief and humanitarian organizations of United Nations to move to the temporary capital, Aden, so that they can continue their works and run relief convoys far away from the interventions of Houthi militias.
Yemeni Minister of Local Administration, Head of Higher Committee for Relief Abdul Raqib Fatah affirmed in a statement reported by Yemeni Press Agency the Government's commitment to providing all requirements for the organizations to operate under international standards and protocols.
He pointed out that militias' intervention in the works of relief organizations undermines the relief process and prevents the humanitarian access to needy people in these provinces.
