Poroshenko, Yatsenyuk, Groysman most influential Ukrainians according to Focus magazine


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine's Focus magazine has published the rating of the 100 most influential Ukrainians, which includes politicians, ministers, journalists, athletes, artists, and many others.

According to the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper, the list is headed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

"The top 20 includes (in ascending order) President Petro Poroshenko, former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, incumbent Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, Head of the Presidential Administration Ihor Rainin, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko, businessmen Ihor Kolomoisky and Rinat Akhmetov," reads the report.

The top 20 list also includes Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy, businessman Victor Pinchuk, SBU Chief Vasyl Hrytsak, Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv, Head of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Viktor Muzhenko, businessman Dmytro Firtash, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, and Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy took 22nd place in the rating, Kharkiv Mayor Hennadiy Kernes is 23rd, and musician Sviatoslav Vakarchuk is 25th.

The list of top 100 influential Ukrainians also includes first deputy head of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction Ihor Kononenko (35th), MP and businessman Oleksandr Hranovsky (37th), MP Serhiy Liovochkin (38th), Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office Nazar Kholodnytsky (40th), Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk (44th) and former Head of the Presidential Administration Borys Lozhkin (46th).

In addition, an MP and the president's commissioner for the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, is 47th, second Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma 49th, Ukraine's special representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group on peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas, Viktor Medvedchuk, 54th, and Commander of the Ukrainian Airmobile Forces Mykhailo Zabrodsky is 64th.

The list of influential Ukrainians also includes journalists, in particular, Director General of the 1+1 Media Holding Oleksandr Tkachenko (65th), Head of Inter Media Group Hanna Bezliudna (66th), Director of Media Group Ukraine and Ukraina TV Channel Yevhen Liashchenko (67th), a co-founder, owner and former editor-in-chief of the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper, Olena Prytula (69th), and others.

An artist and author of the studio "Kvartal-95," Volodymyr Zelensky, took 70th place in the rating.

The top 100 list also includes singers Natalia Zhyzhchenko (ONUKA) (82nd) and Jamala (84th), founder of the Tabletochki international charity fund Olha Kudynenko (86th), ballet actor Serhiy Polunin (89th), and others.

Singer Dmytro Monatik is at the bottom of the ranking.

The magazine notes that 79% among influential Ukrainians are men, and nine people are under the age of 30.

President Poroshenko has repeatedly topped the top 100 rating of the Focus magazine.
