Qatari Committee for the Alliance of Civilization in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has organised two lectures for secondary school students at the Religious Institute. The first titled 'alliance of civilizations, applications and contents and the second was entitled 'the role of the national committee of the alliance of civilizations.
The first lecture, presented by Nozad Abdulrahman Al Hiti, an expert at the Qatari Committee for the Alliance of Civilization, discussed the emergence of the alliance of civilizations and the most important areas and applications that are being implemented in the international committees of the alliance of civilizations.
The lecture aimed at spreading awareness and understanding between different cultures and nationalities, in light of the openness of local and international communities to each other, in addition to building bridges of communication between communities, facilitating dialogue between them as well as maintaining the strength of moderation and understanding during the period of acute tension.
The second lecture was presented by Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ahmed Al Sada addressed the objectives of the Qatari Committee for the Alliance of Civilization and Qatar's efforts in bringing together civilizations as well as reviewing the most important achievements of the committee.
He pointed out that the Institute was chosen to give these two lectures because of the diversity of nationalities, where it is taught about 50 nationality, which is the focus of the Qatari Committee for the Alliance of Civilization, as it targets places where the diversity of nationalities.
