Pakistan- Five killed in Lakki Marwat over personal enmity

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) LAKKI MARWAT, 27 November: At least five people were killed in a firing incident in Tijori area of district Lakki Marwat, police said here on Monday.

According to police, the incident, which took place in the jurisdiction of Tijori police station, was a result of personal enmity. Police said that the attackers, who were riding on a bike, opened fire incident on a running car, killing all the men on the spot.

The deceased persons were identified as Haji Umar Daraz, Badar Zaman, Shamroz Khan, Abdul Basit and Sher Alam. Among them, the later two were real brothers.

Local people said four of the deceased persons belong to the rival family of Noor Zaman, who was the private of MNA Aisha Gulalai. Zaman was also killed in a firing incident a few weeks ago.

Two persons including a passerby were also injured in the firing. One of the injured persons is the son of Haji Umar Daraz, who has been shifted to Peshawar in critical condition.

Police said they had not yet registered a case, nor the bereaved family had nominated anyone.
