Azerbaijan expanding coverage of compulsory medical insurance

Compulsory medical insurance will be introduced in two regions of Azerbaijan in 2018, said the country's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov Nov. 22 answering the questions of MPs during the discussions on the state budget for 2018 a plenary session of the parliament.
'This year we implemented a pilot project on compulsory medical insurance in two regions of Azerbaijan and now it is necessary to analyze the results of the pilot project,' he said.
