An arrest warrant has been issued against the former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the USA, Jaliya Wickremesuriya.
Wickremesuriya was arrested last year over allegations he misused state funds when he was the Ambassador to the US.
He was later released on bail and had to appear in court on the dates given to him.
The arrest warrant was issued for Wickremesuriya as he had failed to appear in court. (Colombo Gazette)
