A roastery in Ajman destroyed by fire
(MENAFN)Emergency workers in AjmanØ·s new industrial area said that a fire has destroyed a roastery forcing nearby building to evacuate.
Colonel Abdul Aziz Al Shamisi, Director of Ajman civil defence said that the accident happened on Tuesday morning, and left the building extremely destroyed. No casualties were reported however, as the fire was controlled and firefighters from the Ajman Civil Defence headquarters and industrial area stations prevented it from spreading.
Col. Al Shamisi said that a rescue team had to evacuate nearby buildings to ensure everyone's safety.
Roads leading to the warehouse were blocked by the police, who managed to allow firefighters and ambulance personnel to reach the area faster, and help putting out the fire, he said.
