Japan: beneficial give and take among recruits and leaders

(MENAFN) In order to limit the lack of drivers occurring in Japan's prime company of package-delivery, the company declared that it was boosting its pay. Thus, benefiting employees, of which Shota Fukuyama was thrilled about.

Yamato Transport, the delivery company, proposed a raise of around $900 monthly. Mr. Fukuyama, 28yo, had been troubled financially since his second child was born a year earlier. Fortunately, he was driving for a supermarket chain when he was informed of the proposal.

Mr. Fukuyama started training at Yamato Transport on Monday; he expressed his delight by stating: "I started my old job when I had one child, but with two the paycheck was pretty thin" then he added "I'm glad I found something else."

It is a political advance for the country's leaders to give job seekers in Japan more beneficial opportunities, for they are in anticipation of Sunday's parliamentary elections.
