Trade turnover between Ukraine and Poland increased by 30% in first quarter of 2017


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) A trade turnover between Ukraine and the Republic of Poland has increased by 30% during the first quarter of 2017.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Poland on Security, Consular Affairs and EasternPolicy Bartosz Cichocki said this during his visit to Kyiv.

"We are happy to note that the turnover for the first quarter of 2017 increased by 30%, and we expect that these financial indicators will continue to grow," the diplomat said.

He also said that the volume of financial transfers from Poland, which was carried out by 1.2 million Ukrainians, working or studying in the Republic of Poland, amounted to 8 billion zloty. "This is over 3% of the Ukrainian GDP, which is a significant support that comes from Poland," Cichocki said.
