(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- A tender of the government treasury bills, issue number 464, was held at the Central Bank of Oman (CBO). The total value of the allotted treasury bills amounted to RO35mn, for a maturity period of 91 days (from Wednesday until November 22).
Average accepted price reached to RO99.7 for every RO100 bill, while the minimum accepted price arrived at RO99.7. The average discount rate and the average yield reached 1.1832 per cent and 1.1876 per cent, respectively.
Interest rate on the repo operations with the CBO is 1.736 per cent for the period from August 22 to August 28 while the discount rate on the treasury bills discounting facility with CBO is 2.486 per cent for the same period.
