Oman to install projects worth USD83.12mn for water growing demand

(MENAFN) Oman's Public Authority for Elect and Water (PAEW) aims to spend USD83.12mn on projects in order to meet the increasing demand for water.
Through the projects are new reservoirs with emergency feeder systems alongside the recent 1.000 mm and 600 mm pipelines.
Accordingly, the authority added six new reservoirs in Wilayats and enhanced the basic water distribution infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the Qurayat Water Desalination Plant, which will be operational by the end of the year, will generate 200.000 cu m of water a day.
