Qatar Stock Index drops 26.83 points

Qatar Stock Exchange's (QSE) benchmark index dropped 26.83 points, or 0.27 percent when the bourse closed trading at 10,060.52 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 14.02 million from 8.10 million on Wednesday and the value of shares increased QR382.97m from QR202.39m on Wednesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 42 saw trading yesterday. Of these 24 gained and 18 companies closed lower yesterday. Indices of four sectors ended in green and remained three sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index dropped 0.27 percent to 16,870.90 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index down 0.36 percent to 4,012.33 points and QSE All Share Index decreased 0.09 percent to 2,853.81 points.
