Industrial Internet of Things to Play a Central Role in Future of Egypt's Oil and Gas Sector

- Honeywell Connected Plant solutions to enable Egypt to capitalize on full potential of its oil and gas reserves

Dubai, UAE- May 16, 2017 Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and cloud-based solutions will be key driving forces for the development of Egypt's oil and gas sector. That was the message delivered and showcased at the Honeywell (NYSE: HON) Oil & Gas Technologies Symposium, held in Cairo yesterday. H.E. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources gave the welcome speech and opening to the event, where Honeywell welcomed government representatives, stakeholders, consultants and partners who gathered to hear from the global technology leader's oil and gas experts. The Symposium showcased how state-of-the-art connected technology is rapidly changing the way oil and gas organizations operate around the world.
