Shaimaa Salim, sister of 'the world's heaviest woman' Eman Ahmed called surgeon Dr Muffazal Lakdawala and Saifee hospital "liars."

She claimed that Eman has not recovered from her weight-loss surgery and that her condition had in fact worsened.

However, officials rejected the allegations as delay tactics by the family as no Egyptian hospital was ready to provide them free medical services.

Allegations: What are the allegations?

Shaimaa Salim stated that Eman suffered thrombosis after her surgery. She disputed the hospital's claims of Eman's weight loss.

She added that despite her demands that a CT scan be conducted on Eman, doctors falsely said that there were no open CT machines available.

In a video plea, she said "These people only care about show and propaganda and to appear in the media."

Doctors: What do the doctors have to say?

Doctors said Shaimaa Salim was unable to take Eman home due to financial constraints for post operative care. They said this was a delay tactic.

They also clarified that Eman needed to lose more weight to have a CT scan. They said her weight currently is at 171 kg.

They claimed Shaimaa was expecting doctors to make Eman walk, which was not possible now.

Fact: Hospital issues statement

Saifee Hospital issued a press statement, saying "We have constantly reiterated that Eman's recovery is a process and not an event . The process is ongoing, an entire team of doctors is tirelessly working night and day."
