Tunisian Authorities Foil Attempt to Smuggle 414 KG of Gold
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Tunis, April 13 (QNA) - Tunisian security has foiled a smuggling attempt through Ras Jedir border crossing with Libya, seizing 414 kilograms of gold as well as sums of money.
The holder of the items, a Tunisian national, was apprehended, a source at the Tunisian customs said. The suspect tried to hide the items in his car's fuel tank. (QNA)
