Egypt- Nasr signs 7 cooperative agreements with Lebanon


(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr signed 7 cooperative agreements with Lebanon for sharing experiences in the fields of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), youth, environment, consumer protection, sports, and security.

According to a press statement, Nasr signed the agreements in a meeting of the Egyptian-Lebanese Supreme Committee headed by prime ministers Sherif Ismail and Saad Hariri.

Nasr said that the relations between both countries are strong, and both governments are willing to improve it through cooperation in different fields.

She added that both countries will cooperate in the restoration of monuments and the prevention of illegal trading.

The statement, issued on Thursday, stated that Egypt and Lebanon would cooperate in industry, tourism, and labour, along with other fields. It added that the Egyptian side promoted a lot of investment opportunities in various fields for the Lebanese, and that the Egyptian government wants to improve relations by supporting Lebanese investments in Egypt.
