Fujairah launches Dh29.7mn power station

(MENAFN) The UAE authorities have set up a Dh29.7mn 33/11 kilovolt power station at Fujairah in order to ease the load of another three stations to ensure flow and efficiency of energy.

Moreover, this is in line with the Federal Elect and Water Authority's (Fewa) aims to meet increasing demand for elect arising from urban, demographic and economic expansion.

Accordingly, the new station will facilitate the load of another three stations in the emirate in order to confirm sustained flow and efficiency of energy.

Last year, the Fewa had commissioned a number of substations in Ras al-Khaimah and Umm Al Qaiwain as part of its national plans to offer elect to new infrastructure projects.
