449 Palestinians arrive in Gaza Strip through Rafah border crossing
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, Feb. 19 (Petra)--A total of 449 Palestinians arrived in the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing after the Egyptian authorities opened the crossing yesterday for one day.
The Borders and Crossing Commission at the Ministry of Interior in Gaza said in a statement that Egypt opened the border in one direction to allow those stranded at the border to cross into Gaza.
It said the bodies of 5 people who died while receiving treatment abroad, also arrived in the coastal enclave.
