Qatar Scientific Club announces Spring activities


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar Scientific Club announced yesterday its new Spring programme and said it would differ significantly from previous years.
The club said they would focus on more practical work this time to enable participants in workshops to have a better experience. The head of the club's committee for organizing exhibitions and events, Hashim Al Sada, said that the Spring activities will take place from January 22 to February 2 and will target the age group of 7 years to 16 years. He added that the goal of holding Spring programmes is to foster entrepreneurship and creativity.
The programs divides participants into different age groups, and every two or three years are classified as one group. Participants aged 7 years to 9 years will conduct scientific experiments that Al Sada labelled as fun, in addition to ones related to space and programming. The next age group, from 10 to 12 years, will focus on wind energy and robots. It will be followed by the age group of 13 to 16 years which will focus on robots and solar energy, as well as programming and agriculture.
