(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC) plans to triple its petrochemical production to an annual 11.4mn tons by 2025 from 4.5mn tons recently.
Accordingly, to achieve the goal, the firm will integrate its petrochemical and refining business and as supplies of gas become tighter, it will expand its feedstock.
Moreover, the company also aimed to take advantage of a move in demand from lower-growth markets in the West to high-growth markets in Asia.
In addition, petrochemical producers in the six-nation Gulf Co-op Council should explore new ways of working jointly involving joint investments in projects.
