Jordanian wins Emmy Award for documentaries


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) New York, Sept. 22 (Petra) -- Jordanian Amjad Tadros has won an Emmy Award dedicated for news and documentaries.

Tardos was recognized for his role in a report prepared for "60 Minutes" program at CBS News channel.

In a telephone conversation, Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesman Mohammed Al Momani congratulated Tadros and said his achievement was a motivation for all Jordanian journalists and media persons to provide the best they can.

Tadros contributed to a documentary about a chemical attack on Ghouta near Damascus back in 2013, which claimed the lives of 1400 civilians.
