Oman Football Association honours Badr al Samaa

Badr al Samaa was honoured by the Oman football Association (OFA) for their contribution in a ceremony held at Crowne Plaza, recently.

The award was received by Abdul Latheef, managing director Badr al Samaa Group of Hospitals from Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harasi, chairman of the Public Authority for radio and Television in the presence of Oman Football Association chairman Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad al Busaidi.

Individual players, best teams, coaches, managers as well as officials of OFA were honoured by OFA during the ceremony for their commendable performances and contributions in 2015-2016.

Badr al Samaa has been credited by many organisations and community level recognitions.

Badr al Samaa Hospital Salalah achieved the prestigious National Award of Excellence for best hospital in Dhofar region and Badr al Samaa Barka for the best Polyclinic of the year 2015.

Badr al Samaa was honoured by the Ministry of Health for the best practice in Infection Control and Hand Hygiene across its establishments and it was also honoured by the Ministry of Manpower in recognition of its efforts in employing and
developing skills of national workforce.

Badr al Samaa also recently received an award from the Ministry of Sports for promoting sports in the country.

Badr al Samaa has been an Official Medical Partner for the Oman Football Association (OFA) since 2013.

Badr al Samaa introduced standard medical testing for all national team players of any age, medical support and treatment for all senior national team players, ambulance support for all OFA events across the country, particularly the league games, international games played between Oman and other countries in the sultanate and discounted rates for all OFA staff and league players across Oman.
