Jordan- Deputizing for King Royal Court chief receives US delegation
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman May 5 (Petra)--Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh on Thursday received a delegation of US congressional aides currently on a visit to the Kingdom.
Tarawneh reviewed efforts exerted by Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty the King to address regional challenges mainly the Syrian crisis and efforts to counter terrorism and extremism.
He said that Jordan's stance on various issues is based on the King's wise vision on the future of the region and the right of its peoples to live in peace and security.
Members of the delegation voiced appreciation of Jordan's efforts to enhance world peace and stability as well as the Kingdom's humanitarian role towards the Syrian refugees.
