Iran's oil export to top Asian buyers falls excessively

(MENAFN) Import of Iran's crude oil by the four major buyers China, India, Japan and South Korea totaled 803,674 barrels per day (bpd) in October, based on recent reports.

Additionally, for the first nine months of this year, the mentioned four big players received more than 1 million barrels per day, decreasing 6.3 percent from the previous year.

Accordingly, overall shipments by them have significantly plunged this year since hitting a peak of 1.205 million bpd in May and had held steady at about 1.02 million bpd in July.

Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that Iran has presented about 50 oil and gas projects for development, in light of the removal of sanctions to be applied at the start of 2016.
