Saudi national soccer team qualifies for Arab Gulf finals


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  The Saudi national soccer team qualified for Arab Gulf 22 finals after defeating the UAE counterpart 3-2 in the semi-final held at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh this evening.
The Saudi team scored two goals in the first half by Nasser Al-Shamrani and Nawaf Al-Abed in the 19th and 22nd minutes respectively. The UAE equalized in the 53rd and 79th minutes by Ahmed Khalil. Four minutes before the final whistle, Salem Al-Dosary gave the Saudis the lead.
Saudi Arabia will meet Qatar on Wednesday at King Fahd International Stadium while the UAE and Oman will play for the third and fourth places on Tuesday.
