EU allocates 26 mln euro for border mission in Libya


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The EU Tuesday announced Tuesday that it has allocated a budget of 26.2 million euro for the EU integrated border management assistance mission in Libya (EUBAM Libya) for one year as of 22 May 2014. Launched in May 2013, EUBAM aims at supporting Libyan authorities in enhancing the security of the country's land, sea, and air borders. The EU announcement gave no further details.
