Arab and Central Asian delegates set for talks

(MENAFN- Arab News) Saudi arabia will host in riyadh the first forum for economy and arab cooperation with central asia and azerbaijan on sunday.

arab league secretary general nabil el-arabi ministers of foreign affairs finance and economy from azerbaijan uzbekistan turkmenistan tajikistan kyrgyzstan and kazakhstan as well as officials of arab finance institutions and federations will take part in the event.

the meeting follows an arab league decision to hold the forum to enhance dialogue in political economic cultural and scientific fields between the two groups.

ministries of foreign affairs finance and economy as well as representatives from financial institutions trade chambers and business councils will hold meetings on the sidelines of the forum.

a number of cooperation agreements between the arab league and central asian countries and azerbaijan are likely to be signed during the event the saudi press agency reported.
