Syrian opposition gunmen target regime forces with 40 Grad rockets near Aleppo
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Syrian opposition gunmen attacked government forces in Al-Sheikh Najjar in Aleppo with 40 Grad rockets, while regime's warplanes bombarded for the second consecutive day civilians in Azaz city, Syria's Revolution General Command (SRGC) said Tuesday.
It said that military operations are taking place at four fronts, adding that four civilians were killed and dozens injured after regime air force bombed Azaz at the suburbs of Aleppo.
The report added government forces fired missiles that completely destroyed a five-story building and five nearby houses, including a number of shops nearby.
Meanwhile, opposition armed men attacked regime troops in mountain areas with 40 Grad rockets, killing and injuring dozens, including Shiite militias fighting with the regime, it added.
The armed men gained ground in Al-Sheikh Najjar front, in attempts to crack down on regime forces located in Al-Barij.
The SRGC said Syrian regime jets unleashed barrel bombs in the area to stop the fighters from advancing.
