Two Policemen Martyred In Separate Targeted Attacks In Bannu

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) Two police personnel were martyred in two separate incidents of targeted killings in Bannu, while police have launched operations to trace and arrest the attackers.

According to police, the first incident occurred in the Syedgi Bakakhel area, where unidentified armed men opened fire on police constable Muhammad Roshan outside his home, martyring him on the spot. The assailants managed to escape after the attack.

The second incident took place near Azad Mandi, where unidentified militants shot and martyred police constable Mishkatullah. Police said he was returning from the Shab-e-Juma gathering at the Amir Bakakhel Tablighi Center when he was targeted on the way.

Police have registered cases in both incidents and initiated investigations and search operations to arrest the perpetrators.
