India, South Africa Explore Deeper Cooperation In MSME Sector

(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Jun 2 (KNN) Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi held talks with a delegation from South Africa led by Small Business Development Minister Stella Tembisa Ndabeni in New Delhi to explore opportunities for greater cooperation in the MSME sector.

The meeting, held at the Ministry of MSME, focused on strengthening collaboration in areas such as access to finance, enterprise formalisation, digitalisation, entrepreneurship development and skill enhancement for micro, small and medium enterprises.

Both sides recognised the role of MSMEs in driving economic growth, employment generation and inclusive development, and discussed measures to improve the competitiveness and growth of the sector in both countries.

The discussions reflected a shared commitment by India and South Africa to deepen bilateral engagement and promote a supportive ecosystem for MSME development through closer cooperation and knowledge sharing.
