Prince Ali Attends National Team Training Ahead Of Historic World Cup Debut


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - HRH Prince Ali, President of the Jordan Football Association, on Saturday attended a training session of the national football team held at the Nashama Training Centre in Al Hussein Youth City.

Prince Ali met with head coach Jamal Salami and the players, reaffirming his confidence in the team's ability to deliver strong performances in its historic participation in the FIFA World Cup, which kicks off on November 11 in the US, Mexico and Canada.

The visit contributed to boosting the players' morale, with the squad expressing determination to deliver their best showing on football's biggest stage, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The national team is currently holding a domestic training camp in Amman, which will continue until Thursday, before travelling to Switzerland to face the Swiss national team in a friendly match.

The team will then head to the US to play Colombia on the 7th of June in another friendly, ahead of the World Cup finals.

Jordan has been drawn in Group 10, alongside Austria, Algeria and Argentina.
