Budanov On Clearing Operation In Stepnohirsk: Russians Have No Chance Of Threatening Zaporizhzhia

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that thanks to the professionalism of the special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense and all Defense Forces units, the enemy has failed to achieve any results in Stepnohirsk for more than a year.

Budanov stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"For more than a year, the enemy has been unsuccessfully trying to occupy Stepnohirsk, throwing significant resources into it, but suffering enormous losses. I thank the special forces of the HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and all units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, who throughout this time have demonstrated professionalism and courage, held the lines, and destroyed the Russian occupiers," Budanov noted.

According to him, because of this, the Russians have no chance of threatening Zaporizhzhia.

As reported earlier, soldiers of the "Artan" special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with adjacent units of Ukraine's Defense Forces, drove Russian invaders out of fortified positions in Stepnohirsk.
