PSD: Man Who Assaulted Minor In Video Arrested

Amman, May 18 (Petra) – A man who appeared in a video on social media assaulting and trying to restrain a minor at a school in Irbid was arrested, the Public Security Directorate's media spokesman said on Monday.
In Sunday evening's incident, the individual beat and attempted to hold the minor as he played football at the school in a northern suburb of Irbid, after the ball accidentally landed in the man's courtyard, according to the spokesman.
The minor and teachers filed a complaint at a nearby security center, and the suspect was apprehended and referred to the Public Prosecutor Monday morning for legal action, he added.
