Suspect Planned Attack on Trump, Officials at Washington Gala
(MENAFN) Investigators said on Sunday that the gunman who attempted to breach a high-profile gala attended by US President Donald Trump had intended to assassinate the president along with other senior officials.
The incident occurred during a formal dinner event in Washington, where Trump was quickly evacuated from the ballroom by Secret Service agents as the situation unfolded.
