Qatar, Turkey Discuss Security Coordination And Defence Ties
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, met with General (Ret.) Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, and the accompanying delegation during his visit to the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the latest regional security developments and explored avenues of defence cooperation and joint coordination in light of current circumstances.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Major General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Manaa, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, along with a number of senior officers from both sides.
