Qatar Celebrates Pilots' Unwavering Dedication On World Pilots' Day
Doha, Qatar: The Civil Aviation Authority announced that its specialized departments and pilots work in close coordination to regulate the aviation sector as the world celebrates Pilots' Day today, April 26, 2026.
The Authority stated that pilots working in sync with these departments enhance operational efficiency and ensure a safe aviation environment.
It noted that the air navigation department delivers a continuous coordination for seamless air traffic flow facilitating ongoing coordination between air traffic controllers and pilots for exchange of information that enable accurate decision-making, while also providing essential support to pilots during emergencies.
Further on, its Air Safety Department issues pilots licenses in line with approved standards through the PEL E-services platform, promoting compliance with established standards and reinforcing aviation safety.
It added that the meteorology department provide weather insights for pilots to make safer decisions. The department issues critical information on winds, storms, and reduced visibility, allowing pilots to select the safest routes and minimize risks throughout the flight.
The Authority extended its sincere appreciation to all pilots in the State of Qatar and around the world, recognizing their dedication, exceptional skills, and unwavering commitment to ensuring safe flights and connecting the world.
