Türkiye Marks 111th Anniversary of Çanakkale Land Battles


(MENAFN) Recep Tayyip Erdogan marked the 111th anniversary of the Çanakkale Land Battles, paying tribute to those who fought in one of the defining conflicts of the First World War era for the region.

In a statement shared on a Turkish social media platform, Erdogan honored the soldiers and commanders who took part in the campaign, highlighting their role in what he described as a decisive struggle for independence and the future of the nation.
