Massive Fire Tears Through Iranian Glue Factory


(MENAFN) A major fire tore through a glue factory in the Iranian city of Chaharbagh on Saturday, sending emergency response teams scrambling to the scene, local media reported.

The inferno ignited in the city's Aghdasieh district, according to a news agency.

Authorities confirmed that firefighting crews mobilized from Chaharbagh and surrounding cities, with additional rescue units also rushed to the location in an urgent bid to bring the blaze under control.

"The firefighting teams and rescue units are on site and carrying out operations to extinguish the blaze," the city's governor said, according to the news agency.

No figures on casualties have emerged, and the cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage.
