*Drone Attack Triggers Fire at Kuwait Oil Complex

(MENAFN) A drone strike caused a fire at Kuwait’s oil sector complex in the Shuwaikh area early Sunday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation reported.

No casualties were reported, and emergency and firefighting teams are responding to the blaze.

The region has remained on high alert since the US and Israel launched airstrikes on Iran on February 28, which killed more than 1,340 people, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel and US military assets in Jordan, Iraq, and other Gulf countries, causing casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
