Tehran–Islamabad Talks Focus on Renewing US-Iran Negotiations
(MENAFN) Iran’s top diplomat Abbas Araghchi held talks on Saturday with Pakistan’s army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, in Islamabad, as efforts continue to restart halted negotiations between Tehran and Washington aimed at ending their eight-week conflict.
According to a video shared by the Iranian embassy on the US-based social media platform X, the meeting included several senior officials. Among those present were Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, National Security Adviser and head of Inter-Services Intelligence Lt. Gen. Asim Malik, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, and Iran’s ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam.
