I am a data scientist and microbiologist at the University of Florida (Department of Microbiology and Cell Science). With a Ph.D. in microbiology, my research focuses on the microbial and molecular factors influencing human development and chronic disease, particularly in pediatrics. I leverage multi-omic datasets to enhance early screening and prevention strategies, with the goal of developing predictive tools for better long-term health outcomes. I have increasing interest in One Health and how environmental toxins influence broader systems, both animal and human.
